Privacy Policy

This covers gueridon.io — the marketing website you are reading now. It does not cover the Gueridon application itself, where a venue is the controller of its own guests' data and a separate agreement applies.

Last updated 19 September 2026.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], trading as Gueridon.

For anything in this policy, write to hello@gueridon.io. A person reads that address.

What we collect, and when

When you ask for a demo

The form on /contact asks for your name, work email address, business name and business type, and lets you add a message. All of it is optional except the first three, and you decide what goes in the message box.

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the submission to our mailbox and does not keep a copy for its own purposes. The mail itself sits in Google Workspace, because hello@gueridon.io is a Google mailbox.

We use it to reply to you and to arrange the call. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list from a demo request.

When you simply read the site

Every visit is measured with Google Analytics 4. That records which pages were opened, where the visit came from, roughly which country and city the network address belongs to, and what kind of device and browser was used. It does not tell us your name.

We also run the Google Ads tag. It records whether a visit arrived from one of our adverts and whether that visit ended in a demo request, so we can tell which adverts are worth paying for.

Analytics and Ads are linked to each other. That means what you do here — which pages you opened, how long you stayed — can be grouped into audiences and used to decide who sees our adverts elsewhere on the internet. It is grouping, not naming: the lists describe behaviour, not people.

Our host, Railway, keeps ordinary server logs — address, time, the page requested, and the browser string — for the usual security and diagnostic reasons.

The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore discloses your network address to Google, as it would on any site using the same service.

Cookies, stated plainly

This site currently sets its analytics and advertising cookies when the page loads, without asking first. We are telling you that rather than implying otherwise, and a consent banner is on the list of things to build.

You can refuse or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Why we are allowed to hold it

For the demo form, because you asked us to contact you and we need the details to do it — a legitimate interest, and in practice your own request.

For analytics and advertising measurement, our legitimate interest in knowing whether a site and an advert are working at all. Where the law of your country requires consent for these cookies, that consent is what we will ask for once the banner described above exists.

Who else sees it

Google (Analytics, Ads, Workspace and Fonts), Web3Forms, and Railway. Each acts on our instructions or as an independent controller of the data it collects through its own service. These companies process data outside Bosnia and Herzegovina and outside the EEA and the UK; the transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.

Nobody buys this data from us, because we do not sell it.

How long it stays

Demo requests stay in the mailbox for as long as the conversation is live and for two years afterwards, so that we can remember who we have already spoken to. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted automatically by Google. Server logs roll over within weeks.

What you can ask for

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to us using it for measurement. Write to hello@gueridon.io and we will answer within a month.

If we handle it badly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. For readers in the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site sells restaurant software to people who run restaurants. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

When this policy changes the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters — a new recipient of data, a new purpose — we will say so on this page rather than quietly editing a sentence.
